Hanna :)

This last weekend Justin and I had the opportunity to go up to Hanna Utah, were my Dad has a cabin that we can stay in. I have been going up there since I was 10 years old and it was such an amazing experience to go up there and share that with my future step children. They had such a blast that they didn't want to leave :) Landon kept telling me that we live in Hanna now and that we can't go back home because he wanted to live there. The kids had so much fun playing in the river, boating, and using Justin's hand made spear to go fishing...needless to say they didn't catch any fish but they had a blast trying:)

What a weekend!

What a crazy weekend! We had such a busy Saturday we had planned on going to Ragging Waters  with the Hardcastle family, however, due to the rain we decided to have an indoor picnic at Aunt Jessie's house, but if you ask Kate it was Maddi's house :) It was fun getting together with my family! We've missed out on the last few family events so it was fun! Oh and my Dad totally kicked Justin's butt at darts...in the end Justin asked me if he could get a dart set for Christmas...lol! Afterwards we had enough time for a quick nap before heading off to the next family event :)  Justin's parents took us all out to a fun center to help celebrate their wedding anniversary, it was sooo fun everyone had a blast:) It was such a wonderful crazy day, we were lucky to be able to spend time with both of our families. It helps remind us how blessed we are to have such a wonderful supportive family. There is not a day that doesn't go by that that they are not there for us they truly are a comfort and a strength to us and our family through these times.

What a summer!

This has been one crazy summer for Justin and I, we have had a lot of bitter sweet experiences. After 8 months of dating Justin and I finally got engaged!! Wahoo! however during the month of July Justin and I both lost our jobs. We are doing are best but sometimes being around each other for 24 hours straight can be a bit much:) I think that this has been a perfect learning experience for us we as we are having to work harder at our relationship. During this time we have also been blessed to have amazing family support on both sides. Justin's parents helped us go on a vacation to California for a week. It was a long drive but once we got there it was amazing and very relaxing. I was able to get to know Justin's Grandma McQuarrie and spend time with her. I also was able to visit with my Great Uncle Bill, I haven't seen him in 12 years so it was quite the treat:) We had such a good time and look forward to going again soon and being able to take the children with us next time.

Through out the summer we have had the opportunity to spend more time with the children. It has been great spending so much time with them and getting to know them better and watch them grow.
